- WHAT IS IT?
-
- Cache View is a (FREEWARE!) viewer for the Netscape NavigatorTM Cache.
-
- You can open the cached files for viewing, and copy or move them
- out of the cache. It will even reconstruct the names and directory
- paths of the files for you.
- It makes emptying the files in the cache easier than ever.
- The intuitive Windows 95 interface makes Cache View easy to learn
- and even easier to use.
-
- Cache View extracts the following information about cached files
- from the fat.db file:
- URL, Size (in bytes), MIME Type, Last modified date, Date the file
- was downloaded, and the Expiry date.
-
- Cache View is a 32 bit Windows program, and so requires Windows 95
- or Windows NT. It works with all versions of Netscape from V2.
-
-
- INSTALL
-
- Just unzip and run the Setup.exe program.
- You may have to go into the View->Options menu the first time
- you run Cache View to specify your cache directory.
